History and Legends
The Knights
A group of legendary heroes who performed great deeds of valour. Their
many exploits are known by storytellers and bards from around the world.
The ranks of the Knights were composed of people from all walks of
life. Brought together over 700 years ago by friendship, a common purpose,
and some say fate, the Knights travelled the world fighting evil and saving
the world. The tale however ends in tragedy as they were betrayed
and murdered by one of their own.
The Great Highway
This highway stretches the vast distance from the Orient to the Ivory
Coast. It is part of the most important trade route in all the world,
serveral hundred thousand merchants travel down the black glass road to
transport their wares. The highway has existed for hundreds of years,
however it was not built any civilization. The actual cause is unknown,
however the common hypothesis suggests that the highway was made by a fiery
meteor. Dispite it's current benefits, the highway has a dark past
as thousands of people and entire cities perished the day it was formed.
The Crystal Oasis
This oasis is a paradise in the middle of the Great Desert. How
such a wonderous spot exists is a mystery. It is rumoured that it
is where the remains of the great mage, Solaria Delnar, rest and it is
her magical powers that keep the oasis alive. The oasis said to be
a santuary for a few members of the Delnar family.
The Cipher
This legendary blade is also known as the sword of the heavens. More
true to its name, it is called the key as it can capable of opening anything.
The sword is fashioned using an unknown metal using an unknown technique
which creates a sharp and unbreakable sword. Its unusual shape,
size, and weight makes this weapon extremely difficult to master. Its
destructive power however is unparalleled. The Cipher once belonged
to Myra, one of the legendary Knights. It remains a family heirloom;
it currently is in the possession of the weaponmaster Sira Morgan.
Delphi and the Segmented Anchor
Also known as the "Seer", the Delphi is an unusual sword which is rumoured
to see the future. Because of this, it is also referred to as the
sword of justice. Delphi is a dangerous weapon, to both the opponent
and the wielder. To the untrained, the Delphi is more likely to kill
the wielder than the intended opponent. In the hands of a master,
this sword becomes a wall of death. The Segmented Anchor is the Delphi's
lesser known counterpart. Generally, in the form of a polearm, this
weapon can transform itself into a number of other strange configurations.
Both the Delphi and the Segmented Anchor are made with the same alloy,
which is simular to the material used in the Cipher. The weapons once
belonged to a swordman name Denise Astenien who contructed the weapons in
the image of the the great Cipher. The current owner of the weapons
is none other than the great Sira Morgan.
The Dark Wizards
The Queen of Darkhaven and one of the legendary Knights, Jenna Lacroix,
had two daughters, twins. How this simple paladin because the ruler
of such a city and who the father of her daughters were still remain a mystery
today. The daughters, Lenera and Erika, became infamous for their
magical abilities in both necromany and illusions. Although they have
participated in a number of adventures with the legendary Knights, they
have also performs some rather gursome deeds. It is rumoured that
their father was none other than the devil himself.
