Ari Brooks was born in an amazon warrior tribe and the sixth daughter of one of its members.  According to amazon tradition, she believes in the matricharchal approach to things.  With older siblings and not much responsibility in the tribe, Ari decided to travel the world to earn a living (to pay for her wardrobe) and explore.  She signed on as hired help on board a ship and sailed the seas.  On one of the ships stops, she met Jessica, a beautiful half-elf who worked at the local clothing shop.  However the meeting was short as the ship continued on it voyage.  As the ship sailed off, Ari regrets not telling Jessica something.

This trip would prove to be ill fated as the ship was transported and trapped in an icy domain.  They discovered the domain was protected by a large and powerful guardian.  They also discovered others that were trapped on the domain.  The crew set out to unite everyone to free themselves from the frigid wasteland.  A few months later and several failed attempts, Ari, driven by her desire to get back, finally stepped up and devised the plan that freed everyone from the ice.  Although it cost the lives of several people, Ari was considered a hero and praised by many.

Once the ship returned to port, Ari immediately sought out Jessica and confessed her love for her.  Jessica returned her feelings.  Together they travelled to far away lands and meeting many new people along the way.  Ari's reputation followed her and she was asked to lead many quests for various people.  She received the Blue Pheonix Katana from her mother, a family heirloom.

Ari and Jessica finally settled down in the town where they met once they started having children.  They have several children fathered by different men (Jessica and Arcane Drow, twins: ??? and ???.  Ari and Elf Captain, Erin.  Ari and Kane, Raven and ???).  They also cared and help raise another child named Talim.  Since Ari and Jessica are open and allow the fathers to visit and the friends they have meet during their adventures constantly visit, family life at this household is rather interesting.
