Kaida is the daughter of Felicity and Sira, the renown weaponmasters. She is the youngest of her litter (a set of quadruplets). She is also the runt of the litter; all of her litter mates are much more capable than she is. Her status in the family makes her somewhat self-conscientious and timid around strangers. However around people she knows, she is extremely mischievous and playful. To the rest of her family, she is a hellion. The rest of the family tends to shower her with attention and not always the good type. She is closest to her eldest sister, Crystal, who is also somewhat of an outcast herself. She often butts heads with her sister Sasha, the oldest of the litter. Of the entire litter, she is the only one that is a were-tiger. A were-tiger at birth, she caused her mother significant amounts of pain and hates talking about the circumstances of that day. She hides her affliction from others, sort of like a private shame. Despite her tiger-side, she generally behaves like a lazy house cat. Laziness aside, she does try to live up to her parent's expectations. . . at least between naps! Kaida is Japanese for 'little dragon', which is somewhat appropriate.

In attempt to encourage her, Kaida's parents sent her to Sol Delnar to train. While training, she met Sora and helped her find one of her friends. Kaida and Sora become really close friends and during their journeys, she meets Tatha (her current girlfriend). Through some quirk, she has a child name Emily and several other versions from other realities.
