Raven grew up as the youngest of four siblings in a rather unconventional family. Her parents Ari, an attractive Amazon, and her wife Jessica, a beautiful half-elf, had children through various fathers. As such, all of Raven's siblings are really half-brother/sisters with differing fathers. The eldest are the twins, ??? and ???, who are the children of Jessica and ???, an Arcane Drow. Next is Erin, the daughter of Ari and an elf who served as firstmate and captain of a ship. Raven is Ari's daughter, however neither parent has ever told her who her real father is. She does discover during her adventures that her father is a mercenary named Kane.

Raven grew up in a small port town where her mother Ari worked as a teacher at a local training school and Jessica owned and ran a clothing store. The family's house was always an interesting place with people visiting constantly, e.g. family, friends, fathers, adventurers. Although, no father ever came to visit her, she was never lonely and the idea that she might truly be Jessica's and Ari's love child was a kind of wishful fantasy. Although Raven loves her birth mother, Ari, she prefers Jessica more. After training at the school with her mother, she would hurry to help Jessica at the store. Especially Tuesdays when the new clothing shipments would arrive. Her experience at the store has given her great fashion sense and style.

She left home to adventure, explore new cultures, and find out who her father is. Although she wasn't gone for too long, she helped stop an assassination in the Elven kingdom, met her future husband, and made many friends along the way. Maximillian, her husband, insisted on restoring an old mansion where they still live. Settling down at such a young age bothered her, however that has been an extremely interesting time. Instead of encountering adventure on the road, they came to them! She is married to both Maximillian and Rook. Between Rook and herself, they have 13 children (10 Max and Raven, 2 Max and Rook, 1 Rook and other). Through her husband, she gains an elven life span. In exchange for raising the children, she made her husband promise to take her out adventuring once all the children grew up.

She has a younger sister born after she was married (between Ari and Kane). Being around the same age as some of her offspring, Raven helped raise her and she protects her like one of her own.

Raven is extremely beautiful and stylish, especially given that she is human. She loves beautiful things. Although, raised in a rather strange environment, she has an amazing sense of right and wrong. Although she's not a natural leader like her mother Ari, she is an very capable warrior. Her friends and family (all of them) are extremely important to her and she will do everything she can to help them. . . and there are a lot of them! Raven is extremely friendly (which makes her husband jealous) and makes friends easily, including former enemies. Observing her parents, she is an ardent romantic.
